On Wednesday, angry Congress workers created a huge uproar and fought at Patna Airport. They alleged that the ticket for the Vikram Assembly seat was sold, and in anger, they chased away the Congress state president, Bihar in-charge, and the leader of the legislative party. The leaders had to flee the scene to save themselves. The scuffle became so intense that the side mirror of Shakil Ahmad Khan’s car was broken, showing the strong dissatisfaction and anger among workers regarding the Vikram seat.
Congress Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru, Congress state president Rajesh Ram, and Congress leader Shakil Ahmad Khan arrived at Patna Airport from Delhi on Wednesday. During this time, Congress workers protested strongly in front of all three leaders. They alleged that the Vikram Assembly seat had been sold for 5 crore rupees. Workers stopped the leaders’ car and raised slogans demanding answers.
Supporters of Krishna Allavaru, Rajesh Ram, and Shakil Ahmad Khan tried to calm the angry workers, but they refused to listen. Initially, verbal arguments broke out, which soon turned into a physical fight with punches and kicks exchanged on both sides. During the clash, the side mirror of Shakil Ahmad Khan’s car was damaged. Eventually, the leaders managed to escape safely. Several videos of the incident have quickly gone viral on social media, showing angry Congress workers accusing leaders of selling the Vikram Assembly seat for 5 crore rupees. The workers specifically blame state president Rajesh Ram and in-charge Krishna Allavaru for the alleged sale.
